the series by J. GRACE PENNINGTON

“I always liked watching as we approached Earth.”

Fun fact: Did you know that the capitalization rules for our planet depend on the context? If you’re referring to our world in a way that references it as a place distinct from other planets, it’s “Earth.” But if you’re just talking about it in a way that sees only it rather than anything else in the universe, it’s just “earth.”

For instance: “I had always wanted to look upon Earth from the surface of Mars.”

Versus: “I was the happiest girl on earth.”

Did I bring you over here just to tell you that? No, that’s just a bonus. Now that it’s out of the way, I have two announcements:

1. I have a new online posting schedule, and that involves adding something new to this site every Wednesday. Might be art, might be sneak peeks at future books, might be posts, might be a new character. You’ll never know unless you keep in touch and watch and see!

2. Did you know that I have a Patreon page where you can follow my creation of “relationship-driven medical science fiction”? I’ll reference any of my writing on there, but it will mainly be dedicated to this series. This week I’ll be starting a podcast exclusively for patrons, and patrons can also be a part of giveaways, get free books, and sneak a look at my works in progress!

That concludes today’s announcements. See you next week, Earthlings!
